Tucked away in a very unassuming corner of Cumming is one of the most fabulous bbq restaurants in the south. I’ve rarely expect much of restaurants like this because as noted on many of my reviews, I am a dedicated bbq snob of the highest order. However my socks were literally blown off by Socks Love. The pork sandwich was exactly how a pork sandwich should be - smoky, moist and piled high. Also, because snob, I rarely do more than taste the bbq sauce. Socks Love sauce is tangy, smoky and just a touch of sweet. Perfect! The brisket deserves a review of its own. As well cooked as any brisket this side of Houston, my slice only ensured that I’ll be back for a whole plate. The sides we tried were great too. The country slaw was delectable, the okra better than your great grandmother’s and the pickles - for all that’s sacred in food, the pickles were legendary with their briny taste and firm texture. Can’t wait to go back and see the owner Crazy Kay and get more brisket!

My husband and I saw it on Instagram and said we ought to try it. We did today and ohh it's delicious! My husband has the pulled brisket sandwich with Cowboy Beans & I had pulled pork with OMG Mac & Cheese, with Sweet Tea, everything was Omg So Good! We also purchased some BBQ Tallow! If you are in the area and hankering for some Great BBQ ya gotta try Socks Love BBQ

Truly excellent bbq, the ribs are amazing, fall right off the bone great... And the red sauce is very tasty. Also love their Mac and cheese. Terrific little BBQ joint, highly recommend.

Restaurant is a little small, but totally worth it. When you think "hole in the wall" with the best food youve ever had, Socks Love is it. The Brisket is amazing, I eat it without any sauce (the only way to eat good brisket right) What's even better than the brisket you ask......... the "OMG Mac and Cheese." It is absolutely out of this world.

This place looks like a shack. But a very good shack. Long tables to eat at and interesting ppl to talk to at these tables. You chat, wait for your food, watch the number of take outs being addressed. THEN your food comes! LOTS of food! (We had to get carry out containers) and the Food Taste? OMGosh. The brisket is comparable to any of the best I’ve experienced in 3 different states. I know my bbq. My brisket. This is truly 5***** brisket. Glad we went. Wish it wasn’t so far from home (we live in Dunwoody). And that take out? Heats up beautifully the next day! Sides were delish. WELL worth the trip.

I’m picky about my BBQ... and when I say WOW, I mean WOW! The brisket, sausage, Mac, and collard greens were out of this world. The sauce was amazing. Sweet, tangy, with a very slight kick. If you have been looking for good BBQ run, don’t walk.

Wow, we smelled the BBQ coming down 20 and almost missed it. A little shop but great food. Took a while to get the food but they were packed out for lunch. Not much seating, so maybe grab and go, or order ahead. Brisket was awesome, manc and cheese and cream corn as well. Highly recommended

Best Texas style Brisket in GA and look at my reviews and feed to see how many in Texas i have tried! Ribs and Turkey are incredible too. Try the sides in my favorite order, Cowboy Beans, Mac and Cheese and Fried Okra but doubt you will be disappointed in anything Steven Hartsock creates. He occasionally makes a BBQ Birria Ramen that should win him a Michelin Star someday, yet he is the kindest and humble guy you will ever meet. Come see him early before they sell out!
